Anyway... -me and my room mate (Camilla Fay) has a small balcony in our hotel and we dicided to decorate it. So we bought chairs, table, Vietnam flag, flowers, an organge plant and some lightning so it's really nice out there ... The reason I'm here in Vietnam and Hoi An is to study development. Anyway... -me and my room mate (Camilla Fay) has a small balcony in our hotel and we dicided to decorate it. So we bought chairs, table, Vietnam flag, flowers, an organge plant and some lightning so it's really nice out there now... -the problem (or maybe challenge) is that the balcony is only 1,5 square meter... but last night we had a little party out there with our neighbours. we were 6 girls out there... -fantastic!

We are having a great time here in Hoi An, and the teaching is very interesting. Anyway I hope the spirit of reading will visit me soon though...

I should go from Bangkok to Da Nang in Vietnam. When I asked how to go, everyone said -Take a plane! That didn't sound funny at all, so I decided to go by bus. The shortest way was through Laos. I’ve been in Laos before, so I knew what would meet me there –I thought. When the one and only bus to Da Nang from Savanakhet (Laos) was about to leave ... This is the most insane thing I've ever done. I should go from Bangkok to Da Nang in Vietnam. When I asked how to go, everyone said -Take a plane! That didn't sound funny at all, so I decided to go by bus. The shortest way was through Laos. I’ve been in Laos before, so I knew what would meet me there –I thought. When the one and only bus to Da Nang from Savanakhet (Laos) was about to leave -200 people in a crowd had ticket for a bus with 30 seats. Because I was white (I guess), I was the one to enter the bus first, so I knew that I had a seat then. Suddenly all 200 ran into the bus and started fighting to have a seat. Of course the bus didn’t have space for 200, but when I counted everyone in the bus I came to more than 100. There was no air condition or and fan in the bus, only tiny tiny windows. This was a 16-hour ride. When the bus started to drive, they suddenly noticed that the ceiling was about to break. On the ceiling they had hundreds of kilos with rice, many heavy boxes and 3 goats. The bus driver didn’t dare to drive faster than 50 km/h. everything would be complete if the ceiling broke; now I’m sorry it didn’t…

When you decide to go by bus in countries as Cambodia or Laos, you never know what could happen. To think of this some days later makes me just laugh, but for sure –I’ll never ever do it again!slik_s__bussen_ut.jpg
